I’m Jihan. 10 years ago, I said goodbye to my corporate job as a marketing executive and devoted myself to full-time small business ownership. Since then, I’ve opened Babycakes cupcakery in Malmö, Sweden Cyclismo Cafe in Redwood City, California, and CycleBar Sunnyvale. I have met thousands of amazing people. I consider myself a social entrepreneur. I believe in creating connections and community and impacting society in a way where all are seen.
Entrepreneurship has enriched my life in ways that my stable paycheck never could. I invest in businesses that leave people feeling inherently happier when they walk out than when they walked. I ask a lot of questions and love to learn from others.
What else? I grew up in California, Georgia, then California again, earned an MBA and use my B school skills on the daily. I have international work experience and have lived abroad in Mexico and Sweden.
Community, both mental and physical health, as well as the latest lifestyle wardrobe trend are my passions. I am constantly on the hunt for work life balance. My guilty pleasures are sneakers and handbags. I am an awesome mom, and an ok wife. This site is named after the 2 things I’m known for =)
